Use Precision X1 to control ARGB on the ARGB header on a RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra?

Is this possible? I have a GPU bracket with ARGB support, can I connect that to the ARGB header on my RTX3090 FTW3 Ultra and control it from Precision X1?
 
If not, what is the purpose of this ARGB header?

    It works on my 3080 FTW3 Ultra.  I assume it would be the same for the 3090.
