Yes, use Everest to monitor your temps. and specifically keep an eye on the core, SPP and MCH. It is ideal for neither of them to go over 70C.

I believe that I advised you to run IBT for 20 passes at Max Stress level after it passes at the Standard Level.

success on that as well. Hottest the cores got were like 75. Opened the window and back down to 71, not too worried as i live in a cold climate. Winter is coming. Hottest MCP got was 70, and 66 was hottest for SPP.

Are you running the latest drivers? If so, you may want to un/reinstall them. If not, you may want to try them out.

EDIT: Since it seems to be stable right now with the current settings...I suggest running for awhile like that and work on your game crashing. Are you going to be on here tomorrow at all??

Is Mafia 2 the only game you are playing? If not, have you tried your other games? Does it only fail with that one game?

That sounds good. Work on your GFX and give your system the rest of today and tonight to get used to running at the higher speed. If you get that problem straightened out and everything else is doing well...then, tomorrow we'll put the other 2 sticks in and I'll shoot you my template settings for 1800MHz and work on that...Sound OK by you??

Mafia kept crashing, but i havent tried it today. Ill try in a little bit. I can almost gaurantee you its gonna crash though. :P I made a few small changes in the bios this morning, enabled TM1 and TM2, also turned off execute disable bit. No crashes, been running very stable in windows. Mafia 2 test in a moment.

OK.....sounds good. Since you have already reinstalled your GFX drivers, if the game still crashes.....there may have been a glitch when you installed it. I would consider un/reinstalling that game. Especially if all your other games are running fine.

Most DDR3 ram can handle up to 2.1v on these boards, even the lower rated 1.65v ram. The only reason they are advertised at that low voltage is to show it supports the newer intel chipset. Try bumping up your ram voltage a notch or two and see if that helps.

Call Patriot and they will tell you that you will void your RAM's Lifetime Warranty by doing that.

By just a notch or two? There's absolutely no harm in that. Daniel, try it and see if the game is stable now.

Make the call and find out for yourself if, you do not believe me.

Voiding the warranty on your own hardware is your choice but, do not go around telling other people to do it to theirs.

EDIT: If there was an issue with the voltage of the RAM, it would be effecting many other things...not just 1 game.
