Hi everyone, I'm looking at picking up a new case to replace a really really old Haf 932 I've had (doesn't even have USB 3.0 on it).

My system specs are in my sig and the 980 Ti is being replaced, so with a water cooled cpu and now a GPU. are there any suggestions on what case to look at? I'm aiming for a sleek midtower case and have been looking and reading a lot about the Corsair 460X, but I'm concerned about fitting all the radiators in the case and maximizing temp reduction and cooling...

If i were to go with that case, I would think the 240 CPU rad would go in the front. As for the GPU Rad, I was hoping it would go in the front as well or maybe I could put the CPU rad on the top of the case like I have it now in the 932 and put the GPU rad in the front.

My goal is to get the GPU rad in a position that's its drawing in cooler air, hoping that will help with temperatures...

So any suggestions on cases or layout, anyone have the 460x with a hybrid card and a water cooled PC? How did you lay it out?

System specs:
Corsair 460X RGB
Intel Core i7-6700k 4.4Ghz OC
Gigabyte Z170 G5 max (MB)
32GB G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series DDR4 3200
Corssair H100i V2
EVGA SuperNOVA 850 G2
Evga GeForce 1080 TI SC2 Hybrid
2x 500 GB Samsung 850 EVO SSHD (raid 0)
WD 1TB Black

Looking for a quality case that does not break your budget ? Check out the EVGA DG-8 series & Phanteks cases

That Corsair looks nice enough - make sure you know how thick your cooler rads will be, to make sure it all fits with the fans you are going to use
It is not listed as water cooled optimized though

My Corsair 760T is OK for water cooling with some heavy mods - case quality is only OK

That article from EKWB was great, thanks for posting that. That got me reading and thinking about case options and how not all cases are water cool friendly. However i have to remember that my water cooling setup is not custom loop like you pros have and use. Mine are all self contained out of the box setups but air flow is still a thing to consider.

In regards to the case suggestions I'd like to stay in a mid tower as full tower is just too large right now.

But the more and more I look at the 460x after reading the EKWB article the more and more I think it would do well because it has so much intake volume and ventilation. I'm not sure what you're referring to when you mentioned it wasn't water cooling optimized. The product description and feature does talk a lot about liquid cooling and how there's a lot of room for it, so am I missing something on that point?

You know what would solve this entire dilemma....if EVGA would just release the QRC all in one PC and GPU cooler product they teased people with in 2016...just saying I'd be the first to jump in line on something like that...

I did some research on these and I think I'm going to stay away from that line of cases...the airflow is an issue, from what I've seen there's low air flow and low exhaust...

Jay2cents did a Ryzen build with this case...and then never used it because his experience shows it had terrible airflow take a look at the review starting here

On the Corsair site, when search for a Case, there is an option to look at: "Watercooling Optimized"

AIO coolers and kits have really improved in the last year or so, no need to go full custom unless someone wants to
