Upgraded monitor but not getting detected? :( [RESOLVED]

Got a new AOC monitor E2475SWQE connecting using a 6' Display Port cable ATHENA 'S CLH-DP0612MM28 is not getting detected. AOC monitor is set to DP, rebooted computer twice and looked at NVIDIA Controll panel and Win10's settings ... no AOC monitor shown?
 
Just took the time to test the HDMI and typing this right now looking at new monitor (it's working) it also has VGA and not going to try that.
 
What gives?

    The DP cable that you list does not specify whether or not it is VESA Certified. For the cable to work reliably (and in some cases, at all), a VESA certified DP cable is required. More information linked HERE.

    Even at 1080 60Hz a six foot DP cable needs to VESA Certified?
     
    Side question, should I be able to pullout a Display Port cable without unlatching .. it pushing the button?

    We recommend VESA certified for all DP cables used on 900 or 10 series GPUs.
    The latch should be strong enough to not allow the cable to be pulled without pressing it.

    Ah ah ah ..... ah ah aha ahhahahZh-d
     
    There is (was) to much plastic on the end of the cable to be seated in the 1050 Ti's DP socket because of the metal PCI slots of the Lenovo case and also why it was not latching into the 1050. So I chiseled to a bevel and now happiness.

    I should have taken some more time thinking about the issue. I feel stupid for missing something so easy to sort out.
    Also, it's funny because the HDMI cable is hitting this piece of curled metal of the PCI slot framework of the case since day one but never has been an issue.

    For me to have to bevel one side of the DP connector is not a problem (I'm a hands on guy with 20 years of electrical background) if that the only problem I will have using this newly manufactured DisplayPort cable... I could careless about how little money was spent.

     
       
    I have been looking into this standard replay of "Is your DisplayPort cable VESA certified?"
    I'm guessing it seems to have something to do with connector Pin 20 the DP_PWR
    The DisplayPort Pin 20 Problem
    Why DisplayPort cables must isolate the power pin?
     
    Is this the big push to throw this VESA certification around?
