pmcleanThe only real reason would be the increased VRAM. Do you game at 4K? Have you ever not been able to play a game because you didn't have enough VRAM? If not, and you don't plan on switching to 4K in the next couple months than it's probably not worth it. Manufacturers are always releasing new better hardware and future proofing is just a marketing ploy. But ultimately that a decision only you can make.
