I installed the NVIDIA control panel through MS Store, shows in hidden icons in bottom right of desktop but it will not open.  Right clicking desktop shows nothing.  This is crazy I must grab NVIDIA software off of MS Store.

Im using 440.97 in the meantime.  If anyone tests a more recent driver that doesnt do this craziness, please let me know.

Update to the latest graphics drive v441.87 and do not install the DCH driver because the NVCPL is not included, use only the Standard driver..Should be the fix.

See here: Microsoft DCH (Declarative Componentized Hardware supported apps) drivers refers to a new universal Windows driver package. . Per Microsoft requirements, the NVIDIA Control Panel is no longer included in the base DCH driver package and is instead distributed exclusively through the Microsoft Store and seamlessly installed following the completion of the NVIDIA driver installation.

This needs to be elaborated on. All drivers released now through GFE and the main download page are DCH versions. This is Nvidia's new standard model. You get those here:
    https://www.geforce.com/drivers

If you want the NON DCH drivers with the Control Panel, you get them here: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us
on the advanced driver search page. Here you can select STANDARD or DCH version of the driver.
Yes folks, it is confusing how they are doing this.
