I vastly prefer Evga, currently own a 1080ti Hybrid.  If a 3080 or 3090 FTW3 is available and the site lets me finish the order next time, I'll get one.




Probably the only card I am considering, next to the Strix.


Despite the scandal the MSI gaming x trio 3080/3090 are excellent for the price, too. One of the quietest coolers of the whole group and fast speeds - the 3090 version especially being a good value compared to competing 3090 brands, around $150 cheaper for similar speed & cooler quality. Manages to look nice, as well, which seems rare this generation of cards.

I snagged an EVGA XC3 3080 Ultra from Amazon on the 22nd of September and it arrived on the 6th of October.

Snagged an FTW3 Ultra by pure completely stupid luck on the newegg drop on 10/2. Like, seriously stupid luck. As in, I'd just installed the newegg app and happened to be looking at it when I noticed the 3080's didn't say 'sold out'
 
Added the first to cart and checked out without even looking to see which it was. Was really pleased to see which one it was.
 
Had been subscribed to all kinds of notification bots and had been spending my days hitting f5 with no luck at all, so for it to happen like that was really funny. Started getting notification pings a full minute after I'd already checked out.

There are literally BILLIONS who do not have one. Your argument is not logical it is emotional based on your wants. Either it is fine as you say, or it is not fine. Shouldn't we all get a ... fill in the blank before some else gets another? Everyone must have their own FILET MIGNON, until seconds are served. If this were a food staple and not a hobby device for gaming, I might see some validity in your argument. You don't need, you want. The logical extension of that is nobody gets anything because someone might get more. Oh wait...how old are you? 17?

After 5 days of butt pain from sitting I was able to snag a 3080FE and it has not disappointed! Cant get a FTW3 as I never click on auto notify buttons that don't work. Not a fan of the way they chose to Que but if I had clicked on it I'm sure I would have a different opinion...

You disqualified yourself as mature and reasonable person with your first sentence.
The logical extension is that nobody should get a second while waste majority have none. This is nice filter to label cold/selfish/greedy or warm/nice/friendly folks. 
If you still can't understand my point,  go and chase a second/third/whatever card I couldn't care less.

My 3080 FTW3 Ultra will be here tomorrow thanks to eVGA implementing the queue system.  It wasn't perfect from the get go, but it's better now, and for future launches hopefully they'll do the same.
It could be worse, we could all not be getting cards until after new years thanks to scalpers piling up cards to sell during the holidays for 200+% markups.
