Yep! Same as DiscoStu, registration on 3/10/20 and got my step 2 now as well.
 
I was super excited this morning! Now let's hope everything goes smoothly.

This is their awnser to my support ticket, just so you know I told them we tracked step up dates through this forum thread and saw people registered after me getting notified for step 2:

"thank you for contacting our support team.

I am sorry to hear that you haven't been notified for the Step Up yet.
Your Step-Up status is currently “In-Queue” and there is no ETA when you will receive the step-up product and we are not able to give any information about your current position in queue. Once we have secured a product for you, you will receive an email from our system with the next steps.
EVGAs Customer Service or Sales agents do not have any estimated arrival date.

Hi! Can someone who already got their card from step-up tell me how they calculated cost of the step-up?
I have rtx 3070 XC3 Ultra Gaming in step-up for 3080 FTW3. Bought it in Germany for 713€ + 23% VAT (Polish VAT).

Do you know if I need to pay price difference from MSRP or paid price and if they get tax in this price or not? Thanks!

Am still waiting myself but it should be 971.69 EUR (789.99 plus 23% VAT) minus what you paid. Did those 713 EUR include the 23% VAT already?

If your 713 was pre-tax just like EVGA has it on their website then it's 789.99 minus 713, so 79.66 plus tax, ending in 94.70 EUR plus shipping.

ok an update: My step did finally complete, I sent it off early in December and it just arrived back yesterday, just over a month. Most of that time is accounted for by the card sitting around in a UPS warehouse in Munich waiting for EVGA to give UPS more information, once UPS  received the information the whole process from delivering to EVGA to getting my card took about a week. Maybe we can blame it on the christmas period and coronavirus with the delay, hopefully anyone sending off their card from the UK now might find it a bit faster.

Finally! I wouldn't hold my breath once customs are involved. You'd think Germans had invented bureaucracy but oh well. 🙄

you  must pay:
PRICE OF THE CARD THAT YOU CAN GET IN EVGA WEB (MSRP) - (MINUS) - PRICE OF THE ORIGINAL PRODUCT THAT YOU HAVE NOW + SHIPPING COST:(15,99$) + TAX:(38,53$) = PRICE YOU MUST PAGE  IN DOLLARS.. FOR THE STEP-UP.
THIS CASE IS for me, i live in Spain (EUROPE).

Did you get your Step 3 already? Waiting a day for Step 3 is nothing compared to the 1+ years for a Step 2, but I'm a little worried as I saw some people receiving their Step 3 on the same day.
 
EDIT: On my product page, I can see that the step-up costs are updated already (+ around 60 euros compared to what it was before). E-mail should be arriving soon then I guess..

I'm also waiting for my Step 3 mail, I hope it won't take another year ...

Beware, ilaniol still had issues with customs. EVGA had to fill in some extra forms and took their sweet time. 🙄

I just got my Step 2 mail, really nice way to start the weekend :)

• Step 1 5/10/2020
• Step 2 14/1/2022

Step 3 mail also arrived and payment is done (happy they accepted my overpriced 2080 Super from Amazon 😅). Had to pay 143,75€ including shipping.
Best of luck to all you guys still waiting - it seems to be possible to get out of this with a new card ;)
