I sent mine back via Royal Mail on the 21st April.  Not heard anything.  Just tracked it online and it states waiting for collection from their German Delivery Partner since 27th April.
 
Will phone tomorrow and ask what is going on.  Declared it as a return and low value as was advised that way should not cause issues with customs but obviously my risk if it went missing.
 
So why EVGA cannot respond to request to collect or get delivered or pay if indeed soeone has deemed it warrants a charge is beyond me as 14 days have passed with it just sat there.

Approximately how long have people been waiting to receive their new cards to the UK....mine was shipped Monday but the ParcelForce tracking still says it hasn't arrived in the UK.

That is crazy. TBH I'm not sure if it's EVGA or the shipping companies that are not performing. Either way its frustrating! 

Nightmare....sounds like it's likely just volume of mail that is slowing everything up. 

Hey guys, i'm wondering something, perhaps one of you can answer me: the 3080 was made available by nvidia on the 17th of september 2020, which is also the date at which evga released their 3080. First step ups in the North America thread were made around 9 am EST time, which is probably the opening hours of EVGA headquarters :)
 
But if you look the Europe step up thread, it says that only 2 guys from UK were able to step up on the same day at 10pm UK time.
 
UK time has +5 hours regarding EST time, which means when the 3080 step up was available for the US at 9am the equivalent time for UK was 2 PM. But the first people who did it in the UK have done it at 10 PM.
 
So there is seems to have been an 8 hour gap between step up availability between US and EU. This means the US branch probably enabled it for the EU 8 hours later, since at 10 PM the EU branch was probably already gone from their office.
 
Could someone confirm if this is correct please? Trying to understand how this works for the upcoming 3080 ti :)

Which way round have you encountered the issue? Your card shipping to them or the new card coming back the other way? Curious to know if it left EVGA and it's with UPS or it's still with EVGA. I presume you've tried contacting them for comment?

From gaming perspective it doesnt matter! What i am thinking is what is going to happen with the queues - will they automatically change all remaining step ups to the new part numbers? Will they send out notifications to accept or step up to another available part number? Will they cancel all pending step ups and fk us over(since they are not bound by any contract to provide a step up, it is just a loyalty program)? And what about prices - will they use it as an excuse to increase them again?

alterate had today few 3070 (ftw and xc) and some 3080 and alternate and caseking had 3090 ftw3 ultra in stock. Of course alternate was bombed by bots and ....guess? gone.
So i dont know why somebody takes so much orders instead to keep average but having happy clients instead. i wil sure cancel my stepup soon. there is no point waiting for this since i recieved my 3080 ftw3 ultra end of april and registered it for the step-up few days before may :)

Stock is not too much of an issue as it used to be but rather pricing. Easily double SRP which is why I am being patient with Step-Up plus they take their old card at cost. 
 
 
 

I was registered on 19/09 around 21:00 hours. Just reached confirmation of shipment for step-up.

My return sailed through enroute so fingers crossed this does on the return journey.

Thus far the experience has been wholly positive from the point of view of dealing with EVGA. All over to the logistics companies now.

Over 4 weeks waiting for me now.

No chance they will allow you to move across.
Tbh, I’ve used Step up twice before and it’s never been this horrendous.
In queue for 3080 since 5 th October..
Getting to be a joke now.

I registered on 20 Sept ... I remember a couple of months ago someone on this forum said his 1080 step-up had taken 6 month to complete. At the time I thought "****", now I'm like "Meh, I've been waiting for 8 months now, what's a couple more"

Anyone far down the queue, like November (where I am) wondering if a cheeky ask at EVGA to swap you over to a 3080Ti might work?
 
Or is their CS dead rigid around when you get locked into step up and your expiry time frame from being able to jump into another queue?
 
The price I paid for my 2080Ti will likely cover the 3080Ti or be close to it. I could have joined the 3090 queue but it just didn't seem like good value for money for the step up to that card.
 
Not complaining, just predicting the incoming mess Nvidia cause launching more cards when they cannot even stock the vanilla 3080

Nope. Even me with a 3080 XC3 to FTW I will not be allowed.
 
HOWEVER, no one stops you from trying to get a 3080ti and flip the 3080 step-up card on ebay. (you might even get more from your 3080 than the cost of a 3080TI at MSRP XD )

After the madness with the 3080 launch, there is no way I'm going through that again with retailers in the UK and the 3080ti lol.
 
I mean I understand the "you might as well give it a go", but the price gouging, bots, orders being cancelled, delays in shipping and more,
 
3080 might fetch more if it's the non-patched version, but I think by the time it's my turn in the queue whatever 3080 I get will be crypto-patched.
