Will we get affected as we have already been quoted 4 months ago? It is the only reason I am sticking with EVGA because I would rather pay 839 Eur for a 3080 FTW3 than over 1K at etailers. It actually feels like it has stagnated now I was hoping the 2 NL peeps were already being processed by now.

Due to ongoing events, EVGA has made price adjustments on the GeForce RTX 30 Series products. This change was necessary due to several factors and will be effective January 11, 2021. EVGA has worked to reduce and minimize these costs as much as possible. For those who are currently in the EVGA.com Notify Queue system or Step-Up Queue, EVGA will honor the original MSRP pricing through April 16th, 2021 if your purchase position is processed before this date.
Price increase is USA only at the moment. But it isn't based on when you entered a queue, but on when EVGA release the card through their website or through the step-up.

"If Step-Up status is currently “In-Queue” there is no ETA when you will receive the step-up product and we are not able to give any information about your current position in queue. Once we have secured a product for you, you will receive an email from our system with the next steps. Our Customer Service or Sales agents do not have any estimated arrival date."

Almost 3 weeks in 2021 and we are not yet on to steelchris1983, and I thought we could shift to Sept 20th by end of this month I should move my expectations for March then and that would be 6 months as one of the guys mentioned here was the time it took for his Step-Up during Turing

Does anyone have experience with the new customs charges etc in the UK after Brexit? From what I’ve heard we’d be charged vat twice plus the additional import+export charges.

I am with the Step-Up because 3080s are non existent in the EU almost and if there are any prices are insane over 1K Eur now ****. But our queue on the forum has not moved since the new year...

I would wait and see, someone else from the UK will be a guinea pig before you on the whole vat customs brexit bs. It's not like it costs anything to be in the queue unless you need to sell your card to fund a 3080 from elsewhere. I got a 3080 FE myself from scan before Christmas for £650 which if you can get one is the best way to go. Still on the step up list too but I registered in October so not expect anything till well into summertime. The ftw3, while nice, is nothing more than a overpriced slightly modified reference card and performance is within the margin of error of a FE. The old FTW cards used to be beasts with proper custom PCBs and power delivery, you need to get a kingpin from EVGA to get that now.
