From the 3080 thread, the first step 2 occurred exactly a week after launch, so fingers crossed for a batch by the end of this week.

I bought a 2060 a couple weeks ago just for this. Gonna be a sweet bump from a 980 at 1440p 165hz. here hoping I won't want to upgrade to zen3 when i get this card lol.

Same! I bought a 2060 super to step up to a 3070 that will replace my 980. While the 3070 will be much better, it's pretty nice playing games at 1080p on high/ultra. Already an upgrade from my 980 haha.

Me three! Coming from a GTX 970 > RTX 2060 KO last month > this. Honestly, the 2060 does everything I could want with my current 2560 x 1080 monitor at 75hz, but I'm preparing for a 3440 x 1440 @ 120hz upgrade this spring.

I too considered doing the step-up program after selling my 2080Ti FTW3 Ultra, purchased a 2060 KO Ultra to get by but I managed to snag a 3090 FE... now, the 2060 will go towards my daughter's build which she currently is running, a 3070 will be a nice addition to her i9-9900K :)

Similar situation, I sold my 2080 Ti FTW3 well prior to launch for $1k and bought a 2060 Super to use in the interim. I am now on a FTW3 Ultra 3080 and will put this 3070 in the living room rig for the 4K OLED C9 now that HDMI 2.1 is viable for 120Hz G-Sync gaming.

I did the same thing. Bought a 2060 SC Ultra at the end of September solely to use step-up. I figured I'd have a better shot getting one this way.

I also got my step 2 at 9:26 pacific. As someone who's never done this, I take it step 2 is on EVGA's side then step 3 is me paying and sending my card? I' m so excited, going from a 970 to a 2060 was a huge jump as it was.

Have they usually been doing on batch at a time? Or have they sent out multiple step 2 batches per day? I think I’ll be in the next batch, and I’m really happy it only took a week for the first one.
