If the 3080 and 3090 threads are anything to go by, it shouldn't take more than a month to reach step 2 for anyone that signed up within the first half hour. (And 3070 stock seems to be more plentiful. I saw reports that almost all MicroCenter locations had 100-200 3070s in stock today.)

Definitely! I know the Microcenter 3 hours from me had around 150 3070s this morning and people were still buying them at noon (EST). If I had a car I would have driven down there to get myself one. I really wonder what EVGA's stock is like, though, since I know Nvidia basically did not release anything to them until far later so they could outperform with the FE cards (which honestly has my favorite design, with EVGA coming in a close 2nd). I'm curious to see how EVGA keeps up demand. I also am curious if more people applied for the step up for the 3070 within the first 30 minutes of the step up showing them available than the 3080. I have been sharing this page across many subreddits to try to get as many people as possible to drop info so that we can get a good idea of when we may get our cards.

I'm also just hoping for delivery by Christmas for my step up. Without knowing what the supply line actually looks like there probably isn't a way to know if that's a realistic goal or not, is there? (I got my Step 1 email at 9:07am PDT

According to the 3080 spreadsheet, the latest step 2 was for a person who signed up at 7:22AM PST on launch day, so still quite a ways to go there.

+1.  Barely passed the first hour of day 1 for the 3080's (9/17). lol.  I waited a month to get my step up and I was 6:36 am pst.  Gives you some perspective that Step-ups move incredibly slow.
