I am no longer able to access the BIOS on my MSI PRO B660-A DDR4. I was a few days ago. During that time I updated the motherboard BIOS successfully. In the past my computer would boot and show me the MSI logo and it never does that anymore.

When I boot the computer and start pressing delete it settles onto a black screen with nothing on it. If I press Ctr-Alt-Del, lights on the motherboard will flash and it will go back into Windows if I let it. I updated the graphics card firmware successfully from: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/nv-uefi-update-x64/ However, the GTX 980 connects through DVI.

Can anyone tell me why I can longer display the BIOS/UEFI?

Hardware:
Intel i5 12600K
MSI PRO B660-A DDR4
Crucial Ballistix 3200 MHz DDR4 DRAM Desktop Gaming Memory Kit 16GB
EVGA GeForce GTX 980 SC GAMING ACX 2.0

Sounds like the bios update may have enabled fast boot. Try to enter the bios via windows, and then disable fast boot inside the bios… https://www.howtogeek.com...ios-on-windows-10/amp/

I've already disabled the fast boot in Windows 10.  I did an advanced startup and told windows to boot to the UEFI and it also goes to black screen.  Once again if I press Ctrl-Alt-Del it will reboot the system and go to windows but never the UEFI/BIOS.  I installed the Nvidia Graphic Drivers from late March and then didn't have any effect either.

This is the second graphic card from my previous computer that was set up with SLI.  The first graphic 980 card behaved in a similar way.  It showed the MSI logo in the beginning and then it quit displaying the MSI logo.  A few days later the first GTX 980 wouldn't display anything at all.  I swapped it out with the second GTX 980 and it seemed to work normally and displayed the MSI logo for a few reboots, but now it is beginning to behave just like the first graphics card.

MSI told me to clear the CMOS and it worked.

    Thank you
