I having issues with new update.  When I boot-up PC now User Account Control comes up asking me if OK for NU audio to makes changes to hard drive.  I OK it and now Windows has issues with Nu card and USB settings overall.  PC won't recognize Corsair products either.  I restored back and works fine.  Suggestions?  Do update then reload drivers and such?

Find the NU Audio software .exe wherever it's installed to..Right click on the .exe and then Properties..Then in the Compatibilty tab, checkmark Run this program as an administrator..Then click Apply..Then click OK..That might fix the User Account Control prompt popping up, perhaps.

If you search KB4517211 problems you'll find a slew of various issues associated with it..Probably best to just uninstall it and play the waiting game until Micro$haft fixes it.

Interesting.... I'll definitely forward to our team.  Which Corsair products were you having issues with?

I found this thread by searching Google, and it is the reason I uninstalled the latest windows update.  For me, it is UAC for EVGA_NahimicAPI two prompts, one for the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.  Install KB4517211, reboot and UAC prompts pop up.  Uninstall update, reboot and prompts go away.

What level of UAC do you have set?

I have Corsair Mouse and keyboard.  It seems the Icue software has an issue.

I used the repair option on ICue software and it fixed problem after Windows update.  I re-installed Nu Audio drivers and sound works fine but still have the UAC at boot-up.

I can confirm the UAC problems with the Nu Audio driver on latest Win 10.

We can also reproduce this.  We are currently checking with Nahimic for a fix for this issue.
