Where are you seeing this pop-up? I don't see it from any of the main pages or the forum.

It popped up as soon as I came on the Forum..and it pops up sometimes when I go to the main page.

This should definitely be something I can click on to watch, but coming up as soon as I connect?

That's ...annoying.

Can you send a screenshot? I"m not seeing it, and I'm testing in incognito mode with no addons.

Ok, *now* we're seeing it...

Well I closed it, so I can't send a screen shot...if you're seeing it now, good..

I don't mind having a "Click here to watch our twitch stream!" link, but I just don't want it popping up on me without asking..

I'm tired of that website behavior...heh

I'm not against having the option to view it, just against the automatic pop-up of it.

I don't care for the popup auto playing twitchtv video.

Clear your cookies and visit https://forums.evga.com/
You will see the popup auto playing twitchtv video.

EVGA should know better than this. You don't force a heavy bandwidth video to auto play on peoples systems.

Yep...good thing I'm not still stuck on 1.5 DSL or I still be wondering why the page won't load.  I should never see a Twitch stream auto play.

It appears every time you log onto the forum.
Seems to stay gone if you close it and do not log off.

If you close your browser (x out) then open it back up and come to the EVGA forums, it pops up every time.
It is still doing it.

If you delete cookies it will pop up again....does your browser delete cookies on exit? However, this isn't my complaint.

I've had enough of pop up and out videos just appearing on my screen everywhere.

Certainly give the option to view it, but don't force it down my throat, thank you.

If I click the X in the upper right corner it still plays in the background.
So now I stop it and then click the X in the upper right corner.

How about making it to where it doesn't auto play, that way it doesn't use up any bandwidth or annoy visitors who don't care for twitchtv.

It's not spyware or an ad. It's a script that runs when they are current streaming on twitch. It most certainly bypasses traditional block up blockers and other filters. The only way to prevent it from appearing is to block scripts entirely, but of course that breaks websites as well. I use Brave and it gets through everything unless I block scripts.

I doubt evga will listen, they annoy visitors on it's website to boost it's viewer count on twitchtv. They could have a button that lights up on the main webpage to show when the podcast is live, instead of annoying visitors with a twitchtv popup spam.

One option to block it, use a script blocking addon, just block evga twitchtv the next time it pops up.
