Hello.  I was wondering if anyone would be able to help me in my search to finally get my SLI working.  I've got 2 970's, one SSC and the other SC, and have tried the SLI HB Bridge that came with my new MOBO and the old single SLI bridge, and neither have worked.  I was not able to get the SLI to work on my other system as well (mobo was crossfire only).

Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.

The two are most likely not compatible for SLI..See: GTX 970 and SLI functionality in the EVGA FAQs.

Check on it.

You can call EVGA and see about getting one swapped for a compatible 970. Just make sure that both cards are registered. https://www.evga.com/about/contactus/

If you are out of warranty and EVGA won't, then you can always try using Different SLI - https://github.com/EmberVulpix/DifferentSLIAuto

Awesome.  Thanks for the link.  That's kind of upsetting, but we'll see if there are any workarounds of the sort.  Most likely not from the looks of it.

You may also try placing the slower card in slot 1. The system uses #1 as the master and will throttle the other card to match. Worth a try.
