BTW, I had the IE quick launch icon in the task bar, and the update made it disappear. I had to put it back. I think it's done this before. I guess Microsoft really wants people to switch over to Edge.

They do say that IE does have an Edge over Firefox
Firefox does make a Great Backup Browser I will stay that.

After using FF for about 3 yrs now, I could never go back to IE.  I use it as a back up browser, but it's rarely needed.  As far as the Edge browser, I look at now & then and just don't like it.  At least not yet.

I renamed Edge on my PC to NotEven.Txt. But then Windows Updates keep changing it back.

One thing I've noticed with the bigger updates and even the last two big one's (Anniv & Creators), all my Group policy changes I made remained in tact, but my Registry changes (edits) were all reverted back.

Yeah, the good old days of setting up "your" system the way you like it and having it run (stay) that way are gone unless you prefer to stay on Win7...
