Real scummy of them pairing the 3080s and 3090s today with $700 last generation motherboards. They could have at least offered Z590 boards.

Today was my 25th Newegg not selected email. At least every day I am getting closer to an EVGA card from the queue so no real loss! PRO TIP: Check only every 2 hours, in my case 5-5:30, 7:30, 9:30, 11:15. I think it works by selecting people the first group, that group has two hours to buy their items or they forfeit their item. The forfeited items go through the shuffle again, this cycle is every 2 hours. If I survive past 9:40 and no email, then there is a chance some people wont buy items and it will run one last time. So in this case at 11(ish)PM I will get an email to buy in 2 hours, or the more likely case not selected email lol. I could be wrong this is just observation.

I'm only selecting when the price is reasonable on Newegg. The latest drops have been nothing but expensive and the combos are just ridiculous.
On the other hand, I haven't received a notification from EVGA since December 2020. I added more items now to see if I'll get a notification now.

Not a bad idea, I did that a couple of weeks ago after the Newegg app would not push alerts. I missed some really great ones before signing up! Tonight was loss 27 (never won, when I did it was a crappy overpriced AMD card, that is still a loss lol), but one day closer to an EVGA notification card!

Shuffle's available to look right now, but it's all bundles. Though I like the monitor bundle, I'd rather not get a piece of hardware I don't need.
Be and Do in equal measure. Yes, that includes being patient on getting the new computer rig completed. Independent superheroines ftw! Yep , pretty crappy making this a BundleMania event almost every time , with inflated prices to boot.  The majority of the industry is in such a crap place for consumers.   * how exactly have the AMD 6800XT cards gone from $649 retail --> into ~ $1200.00 for the retail versions ? That's not even scalpers,... that's the manufacturers charging double !!!

I hate the idea of entering the shuffle and if I'm drawn, purchase items that I don't want and pay a kings ransom for. I have wanted to build a new computer for over a year now but decided to wait, I wasn't going to pay these over msrp prices. I figured I'd have to wait 4-5 months and everything would back to normal. I was wrong and now I find myself hoping to be drawn for a card that is bundled with the worse rated PSU I've ever seen. I feel like I'm being lead around by the short hairs.

These bundles are getting worse and worse. The overpriced mobos, the PSUs that are known to kill components, monitors not worth even remotely the price they're going for...they're just offloading extra stock on desperate consumers.
...and it's still better than trying to buy one almost anywhere else.

I've been avoiding the shuffles due to bundles. I didn't even realize they have had some gpu's without a bundle. But the bundle aspect has sort of left a sour taste.
