Hey there,

Sorry if I'm in the wrong section, not really sure where to write this. Anyways.

Any clue why Titanfall 2 ignores my gsync/vsync settings, like at all? I have 134 - 170 fps [@3440 x 1440] and I'd like to keep them down to 100 fps. I don't contract any tearing or so, I just don't want to pump up the GPU, when for 100 fps [that's the limit of my Acer X34A] is all I need. I don't care about input lag, am playing campaign now.

Thank You for Your insight guys!

Kind regards

Sounds like a driver issue. Have you tried reinstalling your drivers after cleaning out your old ones with ddu?

Hey there @Sajin. Thank You for Your reply up front. I installed these with DDU, but I will try reinstalling them tomorrow, and will update the thread right away.

Btw. my game settings are/were, they contained adaptive-sync, half-rate adaptive-sync, triple buffer and disabled. It always acted the same. I didn't try to "force" the g-sync via nvidia control panel. I will try that also, if none of the above helps.

And last but not least. I also tried the Precision XOC frame limiter, it's being completely ignored.

Disable v-sync inside the game & force v-sync & g-sync through the nvidia control panel. Should be good then.

I think I found a bug. After using DDU and properly installing the drivers, the DX12 feature stops working in Evga Precision XOC. It requires reinstall too. It loses the registration and stuff around most likely.

//update 1: yes, it's as I wrote, one needs to reinstall EVGA Precision XOC, in order to make it work correctly, after installing new nvidia driver with DDU and using clean install option under nvidia driver.

//update 2: yes, it works as You wrote. Even with, and without forcing vsync. I'm getting rock solid stable 95 fps [not sure why not 100, sometimes it jumps to 96], with gsync. Though, I'm super happy, thank You! :)

//update 3: this is my monitor settings. So I should be okay no the side of my LCD? It's the game thingie that I have 95 fps? [when running game w/o vsync, I run ~135 - 150 fps or something]
