Singer Tina Turner, whose soul classics and pop hits like The Best and What's Love Got to Do With It made her a superstar, has died at the age of 83.
 
The last 10 years had been tough for her; cancer, stroke, kidney failure (her husband donated a kidney for her). RIP Tina Turner, you overcame abuse to become a superstar.

    She was a powerhouse in music yet she decided to be in Mad Max. It was a bold move that she didn't really need to make but her performance on screen was memorable.
