    I wouldn’t pay for an update to arma at this rate. Nickel and dime over an extensively long period of time is boring to me and causes me to lose interest in the game.

    Started playing through last night and having a lot of fun.
     
    As far as DLC goes, ARMA is pretty good with quality vs. price compared to other games.
    Usually, some free content is thrown in for everyone along with the option to buy the paid content.
    This particular DLC is just singleplayer campaign stuff, so if that's not your thing, I wouldn't recommend buying it.
     
    The core game has had many significant free updates over the years.

    I played for a long time, and loved Arma 2 and 3, but I didn’t get to enjoy the single player campaigns like I had hoped. I tried multiple different things and ended up just walking around and rarely finding anything to engage. I enjoy the multiplayer aspect of Arma as well.
