My current build is based on a Ryzen 9 3950X, ASUS Crosshair Formula Viii x570 MB, and a EVGA 3090 FTW3 GPU. Its for work and gaming... waiting on my x5950 Zen 3 which will be drop in upgrade.
While this system is great I am thinking of a second rig. My thoughts were to just do another AMD build and reuse my old CPU...however I am seriously considering the EVGA Z490 Dark Kingpin and a 10900K CPU with a EVGA 3080 FTW3 (when I finally get it from step up). My reasons: Something different, similar cost to another Ryzen build, more powerful then using a Ryzen 9 3950x cpu...
Those of you that have built systems on this board, what do you think of it? What has been your experience?
