Stock pads are 1W/mK. In most cases, thermal pads used by EVGA are 1mm in thickness.

Sajin, you are positive they are 1W/mK?  Seems low :(

Lol now i feel like a dbag for call evga out on 2mm and 1w/mk.

Fujipoly turns out to be ridiculously expensive. Had some arctic lying around, but no 2mm. Changed everything but back plate pads. Not sure if they would be the changing factor... Used mx4 because i had it and all the comparisons ive seen show kryonaut with 1-2 degrees of mx4.
Long story short, i used what i had.

    Temps have always been:
    Idle
    Gpu: 32c
    Power: 34c
    Mem: 33c

Now they are all 1c less.

I cant remember the furmark test temps i did so long ago.

    Was it worth it?
    Sure it cost me nothing.
Plus the tim evga uses was dried up, which surprises me how it was even cooling?

I didnt use 1.5mm on back plate because the 2mm was touching the board while the 1.5 was not. I didnt want to leave air gaps. Maybe im paranoid. Maybe it was meant for 2mm to be used because the back plate only goes down so far. Maybe im lazy and it took several hours for me to cut out all the pads lol.

All in all it was fun to do. Although i cross thread 3 of the 22 back plate screws. =P

    Thanks again everyone!
