Thermal pad thickness for 2080 xc Ultra??

Anyone have experience changing thermal pads on the 2080 (non super) xc ultra?
 
A card I've had since 2018.. have had recent temp issues resulting in poor performance and a louder rig.
 
Opened the card up and the thermal paste was crusty and not covering the entire chip face so i'm fixing that.
While I'm at it, id like to freshen up the thermal pads. They have collected some dust on some of the edges and were slightly damaged after the teardown.
 
I just want to confirm thermal pad thickness for each section. A pic would be great too, i'm not familiar with each components by name.
