so I've seen some reviews of the KingPin HydroCopper but I'm still missing one value:
delta @ 520w

Idc what the block is capable of at a tdp of 100% I want to know how it performs under full load!
For a block this expensive I'd expect it to be at ~ 15-16 degree celsius.

To the lucky people who already have the kit or the HC card, please answer^^

About 14 c with Xoc 1000 w rebar Vbios, not stock thermal pads or paste ! Card pulling just under 700 w.

OK thanks. That's in fact better than I thought. What pads and paste do you use?

I did not take photos. Back plate I cut 2 pcs to cover all of back plate, cut  out a hole for dip switches and a square place for sticky tape pad. Front pads our put in  same place as stock pads.

Unfortunately the AIYUNNI Thermal Pad isn't available here so I went for Artic Thermal Pads instead.

by any chance are you able to share that 1000w rbar vbios ?

would it make sense to put the Thermalright pad on the backside over the gpu die location?

Hello, what thickness are the thermal pads for mosfets or VRM’s? And what about the area that requires a thermal putty that is included with the KP HC kit? Do we still use the grey thermal putty?

Also, would a Fujipoly Xtreme 1.5mm work to cover the memory modules and everything else? These are really firm apparently.

What is the absolute best setup right now for thermal
pads on a Kingpin Hydro copper?

I really appreciate your help here.

Im frustrated with my 3090 Kingpin Hydro Copper block. Its like, I hear people who have invested the time, by remounting them and spending more money on thermal
pads, and achieving decent deltas. Although, is it really worth putting anymore time in this block? Or should we all just move on to the Optimus Kingpin block? Lol.

If I ever receive my block I'll take the approach that was mentioned by telehog. Hopefully I can achive a 14c delta @700 watt aswell.

Well my block arrived and what a beauty it is :-)
I really like everything about it but it's performance...

I made some pictures if someone finds this helpful:
    https://imgur.com/a/fhRsoGJ
    or:
    https://imgur.com/wR9Ek9y
    https://imgur.com/mvO7omw

    https://imgur.com/2IUb8vV
    https://imgur.com/ICnO2wn
    https://imgur.com/DlIlYx3

I used Thermalright 2mm pads on the front and 1.5mm arctic pad on the rear. As paste I use Kryonaut.
My delta with 520w power draw is around 21c which is terrible ofc...
The block isn't fully filled by now - got some air in it and my mounting orientation doesn't help the block either (I guess)

Further I made two quick PR runs and the results where worse than with my AIO (temps and score).
For now it's a gigantic disappointment.

Any ideas? I'm pretty sure the screws are tightened enough but I'm willing to re-do.

About 14 c with Xoc 1000 w rebar Vbios, not stock thermal pads or paste ! Card pulling just under 700 w.

As you are having way better cooling results than most of the other Hydrocopper users here... Is it possible that you talk about the gpu die temperature instead of gpu temperature? No offense, just asking ;)

How are you measuring your water temp and how many of which pump do you have?

As you are having way better cooling results than most of the other Hydrocopper users here... Is it possible that you talk about the gpu die temperature instead of gpu temperature? No offense, just asking ;)

How are you measuring your water temp and how many of which pump do you have?

I'm using the temp sensor of my d5 next pump (single).
