EVGA 2080 Super FTW3 (08G-P4-3287-KS) Can you confirm that I have placed all thermal pads in all the correct places? For some reason I could not upload the images, so here is the link Pictures https://www.icloud.com/sh.edalbum/#B12GWBC59GHI9uPAlso can I use a thermal pad in lieu of puddy? If yes, what size?

Your using the stock cooler or the EK block ? EK block - you would remove the mid-plate That looks to be a photo of the Mid-plate that is between the Air cooler & the PCB

I was just looking at that. It doesn’t tell me the thickness of the pad though, but that tell me where the pads must be. I also don’t know what if anything can be substituted for the puddy?

I am fine using a pad as I have plenty. Can I use 2mm pads in lieu of the puddy? Can I use 2mm pads everywhere or do some require 1.0mm and others 2.0mm?

It seems like I would want to cover more like everything inside the red boundaries? Also can I use 2.0 mm pads everywhere or do I have to use 1.0mm pads in certain places

I found this but it is old in the FAQ
If you choose to replace the thermal pads on your graphics card, you will want to use thermal pads which are 1.0mm thick. This is the same for all of our graphics cards regardless of the generation. Typically, thermal pads come in packs of strips and then you would want to cut them down to the length you need.
However the Geforce GTX 1080Ti FTW3 and EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti K|NGP|N have different thicknesses for thermal pads around the card
The ones on the underside of the baseplate, which contact components on the PCB, are all 1.25mm in thickness. The ones on the top of the baseplate, which contact the heatsink are 0.75mm and 0.25mm, 2 of each. The ones on the backplate are all 2.0mm thick except for the square one on the back of the GPU die, which is 0.75mm thick.
The thicknesses can vary by .25mm without any issues on the replacement pads
