I have never seen a bigger failure of a product launch in my life. I am disgusted by you EVGA. Absolutely, positively disgusted.
At least all the e-bay flippers got their cards. I woke up 3 hours before this went live, just about broke my F5 key, finally got one added to cart, and then your absolutely garbage website just got stuck in loading for 10 minutes, and then told me it was just kidding about me having one in the cart. You don't care about your customers, at all.

All sites are built like that...i did that yesterday at Best Buy for the ps5.....actually got one after midnight.... i stayed up till 1am then 3am trying to check for 3080...set alarm for 6am....i thought...woke up at 7am and gone. USALion

as far as i can tell, nobody got a single 3080 on any site that wasn't a bot. No confirmed customer purchases

I got to the Payment page.. And than died.. But it took 2 hours to get that far.
EVGA should take note, and put us in a ticket system for next release. Or let us pre-order or something.
EVGA is good. :).
I'm not saying they will do that.. But EVGA is pretty decent. Why my last 3 cards have been through them. Ill wait.

Got a XC3 Ultra loaded into the cart, and the payment page never loaded. I think that's worse than some of those who couldn't even load at all. You're given the satisfaction, excitement, and glimmer of hope when you added it to your cart, and then it was ripped away from you when the payment screen never came up. It really is a bummer... idk.

Nope... It was inhuman. This was my experience: NVIDIA Store RTO'd for the crucial minute 6:00-6:01 AM PDT Bestbuy RTO'd for 3 minutes 6:00-6:03 AM PDT B&H went completely down for almost an hour EVGA Store flapped up and down allowed SC3 eventually in cart only to crash and RTO prior to checkout completion. Newegg allowed add to cart but also removed item at checkout completion... I do not remember sites going down completely last time around... Experience would have been more entertaining if I wasn't up all night with a sick kiddo...

tho I'm really tired of companies like eVGA not allowing us to place an order and get it as it comes in.
I hate playing the refresh game. I'm near 60..I have better things to do with my time than sit around pushing F5 all day.

At least all the reviewers and EBay flippers got theirs. I’m seeing prices of $20000+ for guaranteed ship of 3080s, and the bids are still climbing. What a joke. We all wasted our time folks.

Some are saying the Nvidia site just released a small batch again. People got to checkout.. And some even put order in.. But I have not seen it change yet.. So not sure whats going on.

What i think is that everyone wants clarity to what just happened and EVGA is too afraid to address the issue. C'MON even Jacob posted a tweet with his 3080 that i promise you he didnt have to go through this process like the rest of us. Nice way to become MSI, evga.

So B&H most likely is/was in-person only. They added a CloudFlare protection basically blackholing you if you even searched for 3080 or clicked "add to cart". If their site goes down due to a silly gcard launch, a LOT of their business is lost. The amount of business they do from av-tech equipment w/ in-store pickup for local businesses is insane. I highly recommend checking that place out in person if you ever visit NYC. Also of note, they it looks like they didn't receive any EVGAs it seems. If my office wasn't closed a few blocks away, I woulda been in person there today waiting regardless.

I don't have a problem with this response..it's factual. He's trying to help, not be a jerk. Your unhappiness about missing the card doesn't change that. What would you like him to do?

Ya that makes sense ish. I did try to browse the B&H site without searching for a 3080 but must have already been flagged by cloudflare... and misinterpreted @EVGA I'm not mad. It is fascinating how these launches play out. especially with all the bot traffic...

Any ETA or is that unknown right now? I am also curious if this is due to Nvidia not supplying enough chips in time for AIB to make cards.

The evga store was down for at least half an hour for me. Constantly refreshed, got back in, all the ftw3 ultras were gone... Really disappointing.

I apologize if you feel it was tone deaf. We cannot ensure everyone gets a card the very first day of a launch. I have actually been reading everything for a good portion of the morning and also the emails and phone calls we receive. It's very true, it is not the end of the world. We will have more available soon.
