The Easy Way, that is to Upgrade your Current Windows 10 Computer to 1809.
I found a great way to upgrade your Current Windows 10. The next best OS Install next to a Fresh OS Install.
Set the local policy to do not allow Windows Update to install Drivers. Another Post somewhere here on the Forum before you start.
Uninstall all of NVIDIA's Drivers and Software and then do not restart but run DDU and have it start your Computer in Safe Mode and Cleanup.
After this use the USB Flash Drive you created from here
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 and right click on the Setup file and select Run as administrator.
Then after the Upgrade is Installed and Updated through Windows Updates then install the NVIDIA Driver you want to run.
I did this from 1709 to 1809 and from 1803 to 1809 and not a single issue found and all my Games Run without issues.
Tested under GTX 1080 Ti Cards and RTX 2080 Ti Cards and not a Single Graphics Card Issue, None.
Also Folding and Crunching ran without issues as well.
