I rescued these 2 guys from the SPCA.  Both were together in a cage.  Both they figured were about 8 weeks old.  Had to take them both...
 
  
Tanner on the left, Dante on the right.  They got along great together.  Both boys.
 

 
A little over a year ago, we found out Dante had Lymphoma.  About 3 weeks after diagnosis, he couldn't walk anymore and had to be put down.  Was a bad day.  Both were 9 years old.  Tanner is still here and doing good even after he had to have an 8 lb. tumor removed.  And $5,000.00 later, he is.  Better than new.
 

 
 

Good point.  PJ is the same way - no to baths, rain or water hose.  We'll have to take him and see what happens.  Although, I think his favorite part of being wet is getting dried off.  A nice towel rub down.  I think I saw his eyes roll in the back of his head once....

Edit: Hershey is a very cool dog! 

Have 2 Boston Terriers.  Angelina Ballerina, and Harleigh Davidson.  Both girls.  And both named by my 7 year old.  Harleigh + Davidson is just coincidence because its our last name.  And his papa has 3 Harleys.

So hershey has cancer.... Just found out earlier, sad face...

Omg Haz he is so cute! Did you train him yourself or have him trained? Also about the barking crap... Yea I agree on that one, a friend of mine has 12 dogs, yea, 12... And NONE OF THEM ARE TRAINED, God forbid someone goes on a walk in front of the house...

Me, my brother and his girlfreind helped train him. My brother did most of the "complex" work like "tricks" if you will. But I trained Copper on how not to be dirty(like not peeing in the house, also not ripping and playing with items,and role around in dirt) and not to bark at the most random things. Also I trained him how to howl like a wolf with me when I get hyped up for fun lol. The last thing I did was also trained him how to be pateinet when getting food. I can have a big smelly strip of bacon in my hands with my eyes closed just teasing him in front of his face and he sits there and waits. I say and command the word "EAT!!" and he jumps up and swallows that bacon strip lol. Now the more complex things like sit. lay down, and shake was mostly my brother and his girlfriend.

That's so awesome! I wish I had a dog that well trained, props to your brother and his girlfriend. I have been trying for 3 years to train my little brothers stupid overgrown rat, I mean Chiwawa, to not grab food out of my hands when I tell him to wait. I guess they are just to stupid to learn -shrugs-.

MAN!! Ive never seen this thread before. Its nice to see so many animal lovers here. Drerex....your Maggie looks like the gentlest pooch!! Those eyes give it away. Anyway, I grew up with my grandparents owning a resue/kennel etc... and from the time me and my brothers could walk we dealt with all kinds of animals. My grandma had a pet doe that lived in the house with her, my mom had a raccoon, they had spider and squirrel monkeys and all the typical farm/domestic animals.I also saw a lot of cruelty so my opinion of humans in general isn't too good. So whenever I can I try to donate to our local rescues, do free work for them etc... All my dogs have been adoptees or saves. My dog bubba is the dog standing in my avatar and the goldie laying next to him is my moms named Katie. Bub was in a local kill shelter with his one brother and they were on the list to be euthanized with a batch of dogs...so we grabbed him, and I have to say hes probably the smartest, most well behaviored dog ive ever had. Katie was saved by my brother from a puppy mill that got busted up and she was in bad shape. she lived outside in a small portable wire cage with a bunch of other goldies and was bred over and over. She was muddy and matted and living in her own filth with her pups. She has some issues like being really scared of thunder etc... but we got her though most of them. My brother ended up moving and gave her to my mom where she lives like a spoiled queen now. lol  Ill get some recent picts of them and see if I can get the ones of the doe and raccons etc... from my mom.
