Everything in this build will be black, with white light. The white light I will probably turn off after this build is done and I have gotten the pictures taken.
I don't really do full builds anymore, I kind of morph parts and modify what I currently have. I would like to say this was sponsored by Watercool, but it wasn't, I just really like what they have.

Current Build. You can see what it looked like before this even if you look in my ModsRigs.

Watercool Heatkiller EVGA GTX 1070/1080 FTW blocks and backplates.

Watercool Heatkiller CPU waterblock.

Watercool Heatkiller Eheim pump.

Watercool Heatkiller reservoir. Screwed into cardboard to cut out for a stencil so I can drill accurate holes in the case.
Will be doing the same thing for the pump. Waiting on rubber mounts in the mail for that.

Bitspower compression fittings. Some plugs are old and the logo is discolored, but not going to see them as they will be hidden.

Corsair ML120's and a ML140 Pro fan.

Silverstone PWM fan hub. Plan to run these fans at about 40-45% hopefully.

Nanoxia white LED bars. Probably won't have these turned on for full time use, not sure yet.

EVGA sleeved PSU cables.

Not pictured is the Primochill tubing (black of course), and the bridge for the GPU waterblocks.

More to come as things go along.

The pump with fittings attached. Not sure if I will have a 90 coming off the front of the reservoir, or a straight fitting coming off the bottom of it into the pump. Depends on how close I can get the pump under the reservoir with the drain sticking out of the side.
Whats nice about this pump, is when the fan cable is not plugged in, it goes into a mode that cycles the pump for you. Once it detects it is plugged into a fan header, it stays on constantly. You can also select the Hz (speed) you want by turning the dial in the back from 40Hz to 120Hz.
Going to try and get away with 40Hz for as silent as possible, but I suspect I will need to turn it up some.

USPS failed on delivering my mounts for the pump. Was hoping to have been half way through the build by now. So I guess I'll be working on things the next three days I work since I don't use my computer when I work. Which I prefer I guess because I can take my time.

Went to the store bought some distilled water, new drill bit to mount the reservoir and pump, and new screw drivers.

Blocks mounted and tested real quick to see if they work. BIOS showed up good for the split second I let it run. Dry tested them because I don't want to have to drain the loop and trouble shoot after its all set up.

Thermal pads and TIM ready for install.

    Back Plate

    Water Block

Tomorrow morning drain the loop and rip everything out. Then mount the CPU block and possibly mock up the reservoir location.

Tear down took longer than I thought. Tomorrow will be clean the hell out of everything. I may next day deliver some new radiators. Not because they are contaminated or dust packed. I can fix that. The FPI is higher than I would like for a quiet build. These are some very old Black Ice GTX radiators from 09'/10'.
Back when I cared more about performance and less about noise.

    Anyways. Few pictures.
One of these days I will buy a Metro Data Vac...

Kind of suspected I had some issues because my flow was not as good as it used to be. Still decent temps though, and flow was enough to disturb the water going back in the reservoir. So I want to concerned about it. Seen way worse on these forums and it's not all that plugged. Just some slight corrosion.

Did you get that because of the high FPI (on the old 480s)? I have the same GTX 480 radiator laying around unused at the moment, I keep hoping to rebuild with it eventually.

Looking good so far, you gotta love the German engineering on the Watercool products.

If you are talking about my old radiators then yes. New ones are the SR2 and they are are low FPI at 9.

Something about Watercool products I like more than EK. They both make excellent stuff. Thinking it's that EK blocks are very squared off and that is just to generic.

I know what you mean, the aesthetics of EK is the only thing that is keeping me from picking up Movieman's pack of 980 Ti blocks in the marketplace, they aren't as pretty as others.

The hardest part. I want the tubing level arched over the memory. Will be annoying if I ever have RAM issues. Also need to make sure the reservoir is level. Had an idea as I was typing this.

Measured from the edge of the motherboard to the brackets for the reservoir. Taped down my cardboard with blue painters tap. Then drilled out the holes. Just the pump left to work out now and wait for my radiators to show up.

    So, um... yea.

I was sitting there cleaning the drive of junk files and looking at my CPU temps go to 99 wondering "Is my block defective? Bad contact, air pocket?" Then it hit me as I tilt my head back thinking. "How long have you been doing this?".

I'm just going to peel it off put a small drop down and smash it back on.

Currently stress testing CPU and all of its components plus the GPU's to get the system warm for Firestrike and work on the GPU overclock. Pictures and test results later today.

It's a two port top. A fitting, hose, and funnel. Kind of a pain as it does not want to go in because of the air pressure in the loop. So you have to pour slow.

Overclock was not game stable. Had to go back to +150 (2050Mhz) on the core. Not a huge deal. Also game temps actually reach 40C on the hottest GPU. Not complaining though as I can game in relative silence now.

So I was messing with my fans to see if I could get them slower and still maintain temp. Brought the fans down to 500RPM, to find out, I can here the PSU fan now. I'm half tempted to see if there is anything I can do about that, of course that would void my warranty, bleh. Would love to see if one could stick a Corsair ML fan inside it. Sounds like motor noise more than anything else coming from the PSU, and not wind noise.
Currently fans are 800RPM down from the 1000RPM and still highest GPU temp was 40C. Still the quietest high performance gaming PC I have ever heard. Would have loved to been able to run the fans at 25% though.
