Honestly maybe ive grown up a bit, or maybe nothing good comes out anymore, but I just dont ever find myself watching new anime anymore. Its very few and far between a new series comes out that I enjoy. Im a big fan of the classics however.
I think I just really dislike the use of computer driven animation, CG or not in anime. I defiantly prefer the cel drawn animations. I can appreciate the art and feel the emotion much more out of that style animation. Everything nowadays seems to be computer generated/driven.
Id love to see more classic style cel drawn 26 episode series. Series that are remembered like beebop & alike. Rather then watched and forgotten like so many series i watch now are.

oh ya, of coarse those 26 ep stories were fantastic because they had a beginning and ending and a story written before the production. Now these ongoing series are little more than cash ventures.

My top animes would have to be (in no particular order) Cowboy Bepop DBZ Trigun FLCL Ghost in the Shell (all) Afro Samurai Outlaw Star Big O I'm currently watching Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood, Dragon Ball Kai, and I just started watching Soul Eater. And Attack Sloth has the Funimation HD channel at his place  which is great. I really wish more Hellsing OVA's would be released in America though.

DBZK, Naruto, Bleach, Fate Stay Night, Shakugan no Shana, Full Metal Alchemist, Full Metal Panic (absolutely hilarious, I recommend this anime to anyone that are looking for a good laugh). Looking into watching more.

decided to revive this old thread instead of making a new one :P Anyone watch Kill la Kill? They just released the English Dub trailer a few minutes ago..in case if anyone likes anime but with english dubs I think this is a good watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pLhE2EhuoZ8 Also, anybody watching the new animes this spring season? I'm watching: No Game No Life (This weeks episode is freaking insane!), Gokukoku no Brynhildr, Black Bullet, Captain Earth, Date A Live Season 2, Mekukacity Actors (gotta love shaft and their head tilts) and Seikoku no Dragonar.

"Anime" was a word I only learned of in the past decade, but didn't realize I've been watching a few shows as a kid as back then I thought all cartoons were the same. I watched cartoons all the way up to age 20 and then stopped, partly as I didn't have my own TV.
That being said, I don't watch any of it anymore; I think "Voltron" was anime, and an older Nickelodeon show called "Noozles" might have been another. Pokemon and Yu-gi-oh were after my generation, so I clearly didn't care.

No not really it was done in error. I needed this Thread to put in this Thread what good series do u know? #7 But not sure what you have posted is about Anime  I Guess their is no point anymore asking a MOD to delete it.
