Got the same issue with my 6900XT multiple Times (always while playing cyberpunk).
Inserting an other card worked.
But I needed a cmos to get the 6900XT back to work.
Did you try cmos?

You call that cheap! and I'm not a cheap person by any means, but that's not cheap in my book.
It would cost more to ship it somewhere in Canada, lol. It's the insurance that makes it expensive... But it's fully covered if it goes missing, or gets damaged... Just under $104 USD, lol. Everything in Canada is more expensive than it is in the US.

Well, that was quick... It arrived there at 10:42AM and I already have something coming back... However I got no information other than UPS email telling me I had a package coming, and that my RMA is closed... Hopefully they didn't just slap "Return to Sender" on it

Check your EVGA account. Probably have a new serial number now attached to your product page.

Read some of these comments..
I mean I don't know about the rest of you guys but I purchased a 2 year warranty extension for my 3090 FTW3 Ultra.. that's a 5 year warranty lol. So when it dies I will get a working one.. and when that one dies I will get a working one.. etc.. etc ... etc.. And in like 4 years I will be using a different GPU anyways.
The original poster has a 1200 watt psu.. I doubt its his psu..
The warranty is great and all. But if this is a recurring problem that causes some users to have to RMA multiple times over the lifespan of the card then that in itself will cost a lot from shipping expenses. If a user didn’t opt into advanced RMA then it can cost $100 or more to ship the GPU with insurance depending on where you are in the country (USA).
Advanced RMA is only available in the USA, so it's useless to me, unfortunately. phroze

The shippers must work faster than the office folks, lol. That information didn't arrive until 10 minutes ago. Interestingly enough, it shipped from Anaheim, not Brea.

So far, my only CTD has come after I successfully ran the X1 overclock routine. Tried to run the new clocks in FS2020 and within moments the system crashed. X1 is more forgiving than FS2020 is. X1 doesn’t seem to give realistic/reliable overclocks and fan 3 still has a mind of its own. So set back to stock clocks and it’s been fine. I am a bit surprised to see the reports of dying 3000 series cards but I shouldn’t be I guess. Really pissed at Nvidia over this whole 3000 series fiasco. No silicon, crap drivers, and now potentially-bad silicon is being piled on for good measure. I wonder if this time Jensen will notice rushed launches to try to one-up a competitor aren’t such a good idea. This is why I bought EVGA. I didn’t buy the extended warranty though now I’m wishing I had (90 days has passed). At least I have 3 years of warranty if the card dies. For the price of my card I don’t care about shipping and insurance but this could easily be my last Nvidia-based card. Really getting tired of the Nvidia/Jensen ”reveals” where he promises the moon and then leaves you hanging. He did it with VR-SLI and the 980s and he keeps right on doing it. At this point I’d just like drivers that don’t turn VR into a slide show but with Nvidia, even that seems too much to ask.

Just wanted to chime in also, This morning my 3090 ftw3 ultra lost signal to monitor the fans went 100% and i smelled a bit of burnt electronics AND the red LED on gpu by pwr cable from psu. No overclocking just an aggressive fan curve in PX1. 3 separate pwr cables from psu, no pigtailed cables. My psu is EVGA 1200wP2 bought in 2016. And i do have it plugged into an APC surge suppressor. This is really frustrating since my evga 2080ti ftw3 ultra had the memory overheating and now this one just up and dies within 3 months. I did already submit a ticket. If it wouldnt be for EVGAs great support i would jump ship for another companys gpus.

I kinda regret not waiting for the Gigabyte Aorus Extreme or getting an MSI card, now... My MSI 7970s lasted 8 years with no issues with excessive overclocks and power a power modded bios. It's going to get old real quick if I have to RMA it every week... 132 bucks a week is going to get expensive, really quick

At some point, the product quality head is going to reach the ease of RMA tail, and EVGA's sterling reputation will be bitten by its own practices. When someone is wishing they had gone 'MSI', you have failed as an OEM.

I just wish the refurb they sent back was in as good of physical condition as the one I sent in 🙄

You should have gotten a new one. I did with my rma. Went from serial 2014 red lips to 2114 black lips new card. Id give them a call and say uh yea I didnt pay $2k for a product to work 1 week and then get a beat up refurb.
I made sure sure before I rma'd that I was getting a new card.

They apparently open them and test them before shipping them for RMA... With the occasional open box to prevent delays, according to EVGA.
But I just pulled an 18337 in Time Spy and 13356 in Port Royal, in quiet mode, no clock or power mods, just fans at 100%, so I guess I can put up with a couple scratches for now, lol.

after reading all the posts im still glad i have a evga founders editition 1080ti
from mid 2017 its still a beast and i took the 5 year warranty.im thinking its still covered I have been in queue since October for all the cards no email yet.I have bought 4 new cards from evga over the years no trouble yet.i rember people saying and reviews dont buy the founders edition it runs to hot hell it outlasted my 1060 3 gig that dyed for no reason.

Over three months for me now with my 3090 FTW3 Ultra and still going strong without a hitch. Been gaming every day with it.
I still have my 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra as I was afraid to sell it in case something happens with my 3090.
I am getting closer now to feeling comfortable enough to do so. May give it another three or four weeks to be safe.

Another dead 3090 ftw3 ultra here.
Just spent $236 CAD shipping by UPS from Ontario. The card cost $2400 CAD plus tax, which works out to $2700. UPS wouldn't allow me to ship ground with such high insurance so had to pay ridiculous amount to return it. They also had to gut my package and re-pack themselves. Also you can't insure for full money spent, just for price before tax. Already spent all I could afford on PC hardware and now another two hundred plus to unbrick this GPU. Fully expecting to have to do this RMA over and over. How much is it going to cost over its lifespan? There's also another $50 for a GT710 just so I can use my computer.
Wrote EVGA to ask for consideration for high, required shipping cost and received a boilerplate reply. Reply came same day, but they simply don't care.

half the time in thier fine print insurance does not cover used items etc etc, net parcel emails u after you pay for the label, and says the insurance you just payed for is useless.
