Just placed an order 1060 FTW2 GAMING ICX 06G-P4-6768-KR. I couldn't talk the wife into the card I want to replace my 980FTW that died so I'm settling with this and I'll step up in a couple months when we get our income taxes done. I wanted 1080 ftw2 GAMING ICX 08G-P4-6686-KR, but she wasn't going for it. If it performs close to my 980 I'll be happy to be able to play again. Haven't been able to do a nightfall or raid in Destiny 2 due to losing signal to my monitor alot.
 
What would be nice is if I could talk her into PC gaming, she would then understand why it is nice to have more expensive hardware.

It is under warranty, but RMA got refused due to liquid spots. I didnt look closely eniugh at it prior to sending it in(was leaving town for thanksgiving). I saw weird coloring on it, but had i realised what it could have been I would have taken it aoart and cleaned it before shipping. Wife was in a hurry when RMA got set up so I screwed myself.

It runs fine in debug mode, but if not in debug i lose signal to my monitor.

I have it back now and if i could have found a used one(reasonably priced)to match i would have bought it instead for SLI.

Be nice if i could send it in again now that it is spotless, but I'm sure it has been flagged somehow.

Thanks, i will look into it. If it dies get approved tjen i eill definitely take advantage of step up with my 1060(which is due for delivery any second) to match whatever i get it replaced with.

Good news-RMA got approved. Bad news is it's another 980ftw so stepping my 1060 up to a matching card is not happening. Looks like the replacement will go up for sale and funds used for step up if it sells in time.
