EVGA Friends, I just received an email from David's (Sparetimepc) wife that on April 7th he lost his battle with cancer. Obit can be found here: David W. Woertz Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information (hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com) He was one of the more super knowledgeable regulars around here and I always appreciated his wisdom on all things high end enthusiast PC. Additionally, I have bought and sold several things with him and he was so wonderful to deal with, everything was priced great and in mint condition. I know many of you have interacted with him, learned from him, and figured you would want to know. I know many of you have interacted with him, learned from him, and figured you would want to know. Sad day. I want to thank you for posting this rblaes_99. We have lost a great forum member, and a folding team mate. I don't think many had any idea of the fight he was in, I certainly didn't. What I noticed was all the help he offered especially in the folding section. And like you said he was very knowledgeable, and shared that with others here. Rest in peace David. I hope his family finds comfort in the kind of helpful, and nice person he was. It is indeed sad news, but I appreciate it. Edit: your attachment isn't working, link is though.

Thank you for anything you can give. I'm still coming up a bit short. I never knew that death was so expensive. I don't want to sound pathetic. David didn't have any insurance. Health or life. It's been so stressful. Can't even have a funeral and that makes me feel awful. My David deserves everything. I think that the grief is really getting to me. I'm sorry for posting on here. I didn't have another way to thank everyone for the kind words and donations.

In Europe there is insurance for death/burial (not life insurance) and this is what me and my wife have at the moment. If I was employed I would have donated more money.
