That game is 10 years old and they still update it. (even though Journey's End was the last, I think, major update)

I gotta admit, Masterclass in supporting your game. It wasn't broken either, like No Man's Sky or some other games that needed it to be functional. It was already a good game, and they kept updating and supporting it.

Tbh props to No Man's Sky too. It's one of the greatest redemption arcs. Super hyped and came out in an awful state, buggy and not finished, the reception was terrible... but they didn't give up, they kept working on it and now it's a respectable game still being updated. Hopefully Cyberpunk 2077 follows but that game's scope might have been too much.

I bought Terraria way back in November of 2011. My friend and I already were playing the Minecraft Beta and were looking into a similar style of game. Needless to say we put many hours into this game and built many cool things. I may have to re download and try it again for nostalgia sake.
I have a very similar experience with Terraria, except I bounced off it like, for years, before it finally clicked for me. I'm so happy it's getting recognition, it definitely deserves it.

Pulled the trigger on this seeing it for sale. Was not disappointed. Can see myself getting a lot of hours out of it.

I've played it a few years ago. It was one of those games for me to play while listening to podcasts, debates, or new music albums (anything audio related I wanted to pay enough attention to).

I remember when I first got it, I got like 150 hours on it within the first 2 weeks while playing with some friends. Those were some fun time, glad to see it getting the recognition it deserves. I should really hop on it again one of these days.

I would have never expected them to sell so many copies. I used to watch people stream the game on launch so im excited to buy it myself once I get my first PC.

I have not given Terraria the time it deserves. Once I get my new build I think I will revisit it.

I remember playing Terraria when it first came out. It was pretty fun until my friends figured out how to inventory edit and ruined the progression.

That's actually so ironic, I just purchased this game with my nephews thinking I was bringing an old forgotten game back into the fold. They really deserve the accolades, easily one of my favorites and one of the most replayable games ever due to mods and accessories and armor systems.

Great game, I was reluctant to try it for so long - which I regret. It did mean that it already had so many updates by the time I got around to giving it a shot that there was a massive amount to do. Would highly recommend it (not that it sounds like it needs more recommendations).

I find the vanilla version pretty lacking compared to what it can be with a big list of mods.
Having a lot of mods makes the game pretty fun imo.
