You might want to take a look at Lian Li's anti sag gpu kit.  It comes with their O11XL case and I use the kit for builds where the mobo has exposed mounting screws on the right side or middle of the board.  The picture off amazon's website shows it supporting the GPU from the middle mounting points of a atx mobo.  I like to use the along the right side of the atx mobos if possible.  These would be the lower right and the right middle mounting screws.

This kit does help keep the build looking clean without having to add a stand brace.

You can also use one of those wooden sticks that you get when you buy paint can. I cut it to the exact size and glued some foam on top to avoid scratching the shroud

Or you can use anything else that has the perfect size.
Ok, no worries as now I have a proper bracket for this build.

I purchased this 3D printed adjustable height stand on Etsy.  The sellers shortest stand was perfect height in my mATX case.

Thanks for linking that! I'm looking into what I'll need when the Optimus block shows up for my 3080ti FTW3. It's going to take something, because that block weighs like 6 lbs or something with the backplate, and I don't think it's good for the PCIE slot to have all that weight hanging off it with just the two screws on the far left helping to support the weight. That solution looks pretty decent to me.

Jayz had a good video on how to fix this for free, using old bracket covers.  It's not elegant, I used the Coolermaster horizontal bracket in both my cases, but for vanity/looks.

Not cheap, but its very well made

Depending on the case and your budget you might want to look at a vertical mount and a Gen 4 riser cable.  I know the combo is going to run about 125 for both items, but depending on your setup it would make supporting your gpu much easier with less strain on the mobo.  I bought imo one of the better gaming mobos in the Dark Hero and didn't want to have issues later with the PCI-E slot being worn or damaged by supporting the weight of my GPU with the waterblock.  EKWB has a real nice vertical mount in two designs.  One design is to be used when you have cross members on the rear pci-e slots on the case with an offset to allow the use of a vertical mount and the other is for a flush mounting for cases with no obstructions with no offset.  I like the EKWB design since it also uses the mobo mounting posts either down the middle or the right side of the mobo to help support the vertical mount bracket.  By using the vertical mount it takes the stress off the slot to help support the weight of the gpu.  The Lian Li anti sag brace is something I use in most of the air cooled builds I do for others.  If you are really going to put something a bit heavy, I'd also look for a post style brace to help spread the load.  I used the Lian Li kit with my 3090 FTW3 while I was using with the air cooler with no issues or sag.  I went with the vertical mount from Lian Li when I opened loop my system.  With the Optimus block, using the vertical mount really helps show off the gpu block well.  When you don't vertical mount it, the heat sink rear plate is shown more which is why I went with the vertical mount.

I ordered that Lian Li kit off Amazon and it arrives today. The Optimus block isn't here yet, though, so it'll be a few days, hopefully not a few weeks, then they'll both get installed. There's no way I want the enormous mass of that thing supported by just the two PCI-E port bracket screws and the PCI-E slot itself.
