So any future Saints Row or Metro games will now be under the old THQ banner. There are a lot of major developers included in this deal. I hope this will lead to better games and also games being released faster.

    Im not for the whole released faster thing, as much as I would truly like that. It seems when they do that the game just ends up really screwed up, full of bugs the community ends up fixing etc.... no thanx! You take as long as you need guys, as long as we get a competent release at the end.

    Deep Silver is pretty garbage. Not sure why they did this. The franchises they got were pretty terrible. Homefront was a disaster, Metro turned into poo, and Saints Row along with Crytek UK? hahah no thank you.

    It may be garbage now, but perhaps they plan on making them better. They bought them to make new games.

    Why not create something new that doesn't have horrible baggage? None of those franchises were great sellers. Metro specifically turned from an interesting FPS game to a cut scene movie game with some of the worst paid DLC shenanigans of all time with having to pay additional for higher difficulties.....

    Because they all had great ideas and things going for them at one time. And, now they own all of those assets. The characters, the licenses, everything... There's money to be tapped there.
