Just got one of these recently. With ECO mode @ low load the PSU is quiet, but with ECO mode off, it's easily loudest item in my system at low loads. Fan seems noisy. Sounds very similar to my RTX 3080 FTW3 when it's fans are set to 75% (1925 RPM), but a bit higher pitched than the gpu's fans.
Does anyone know what the RPM or expected noise level is when Eco mode is disabled? Does it just run at 100%, or is there some load/temp based nuance to it? Product page has a noise level curve with eco mode on, but not when it is off.

Did you ever find the answer to this? Know this thread is old, but I recently also got a T2 1000W, and the fan is the loudest thing in my system when ECO mode is off. When it is on, dead silent until under load, in which case it kind of is drowned out by my other fans. I spoke with EVGA customer service and they did not have a fan curve for ECO mode off (kind of odd, to be honest). But I find the ECO mode "on" fan curve to be correct. If the 1000W T2 is anything like the 1600W T2, then the fan curve without without ECO mode will be much louder.

I am unsure why there is a fan curve for the 1600W without ECO mode, but not for the 1000W.
Did you end up just leaving ECO mode on? Or, did you RMA and get a better sound level with if off? I am currently trying to figure out if I should RMA or not.

First talk to EVGA tech support about the loud fan noise.

AMD Ryzen 9 7950X,  Corsair Mp700 Pro M.2, 64GB Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5  X670E Steel Legend, MSI RTX 4090 Associate Code: H5U80QBH6BH0AXF. I am NOT an employee of EVGA
