I have a Supernova P2 1600W PSU and I see it has:
5x 8pin PCIE to 8pin + 6 pin (dual) PCIE connectors = 10 PCIE connections
4x 8pin PCIE to 8pin (single) PCIE connector = 4 PCIE connections
for a total of 14 PCIE connections.
I see that I can buy some original cables on ebay and elsewhere.
Is it ok to swap the 4x 8pin PCIE to 8pin + 6pin PCIE connectors for 4x 8pin PCIE to 8pin PCIE? This would give me a total of 9x 8pin PCIE to 8pin PCIE + 6pin PCIE for a total of 18 connectors.
I'm only looking at needing a total of 16 - 8 for PCIE riser cards and 8 for Nvidia GPUs (1060/1070).
Please advise,
thanks
