Supernova 1600 G2 with a Titan X (Maxwell), which connectors are best?

Hello.
I just got a replacement for my 1300w supernova (EVGA sent me a 1600w, thank you EVGA!).

So, I notice that the 1600w has 2 different kinds of wire connectors (I will call them Cords):
1 cord with both an 8 pin, and coming off that a 6 pin (basically 1 cord, using the 8 pin as the real power, then jumping (basically, its just a jumper, 2 wires clamped together) off that 8 pin to a 6 pin). I worry about the jumper thing, that it might get less voltage to the 6 pin power connector because of the jump, as its just clamped together and not soldered).
1 cord with a 6/8 pin connector, and thats it.

So, which one should I use with my Maxwell titan x ?
Will the single cord with both the 8 pin AND the 6 pin on it be enough for the Maxwell titan x? Or might the clamped wires to the 6 pin not be enough, or stable enough, for that much juice running through it? (Top power on that card is 250w). (I know the psu has a single 12v rail).
Or, should I use 2 of the 6/8 pin cords instead, like I usually do?

And, if I should use two of the 6/8 pin cords, what sections should I use them in? VGA1 and VGA4? VGA1 and VGA2? VGA1 and VGA6?

Thanks for anyone that knows these psu's very well, and what switching does, and where the most draw comes from inside these psu's, and the fact that the singlwe cord has just a clamped 6 pin power connector, and not a soldered connection. (I read all the psu reviews from Hardocp and JohnyGuru, I have since I started putting machines together and they first did reviews of psu's back then (2002? 2003?), but neither address this huge 250w power draw from a video card, or what sections to use, and the manual says absolutely nothing about this sort of situation).

So, thank you for any very knowledgable (beyond my knowledge) on this issue.

Using just this PCIe cable will be fine with that single +12V rail unit..Doesn't matter which VGA output on the PSU you plug into.

Nice that you got a 1600W unit as a replacement

Yeah, thats the 8 pin plus 6 pin cord I was talking about, that is just jumpered together, not soldered.
It would make for a very clean, tidy, air friendly connection vs 2 of the 5/8 pin connectors, but I have had SO many issues with the titan x's (I am on my 6th rma now), that I just want the best connection possible to rule out the psu as the culprit if the next card is bad also.
Maybe I will put the 2 6/8 pin cords in first, and then if the card is good, try the single multi-cord.
    :)

Some say it's ok to use one cable with 2 connectors coming off of it, but I believe you get better reliability when using 2 separate cables to gpu's that have two power connections, especially the higher wattage/ overclocked gpu's.

If all your pci-e cables are like that I would just zip tie the extra 6 pin jumper.

No, there was just 1 cable like that (8pin + 6pin).
I ended up doing what I usually do, and used 2 seperate cables (one 6/8pin, and a seperate 6/8).
I just hope there is nothing weird with the psu like you should only use the vga1 and vga5 together on 1 card.
Thats why I was asking here, but it seems like I know more about psu's than anybody else here (or just as much as anyone else knows, not trying to be condescending or anything).
    :P

Since sourcing cables isn't an issue (the 1600 G2 comes with 9 PCI-e 8/6pin cables), I'd go for the safest solution and use separate cables for each power connector on the card. I don't have a Titan X but my 1080ti's can draw over 300W each when overclocked, and I know I don't want 19+Amps coming from a single cable and frankly the 2nd one isn't going to inhibit airflow in any noticeable amount.
The numbers on the PSU end don't matter, on occasion I've used various combinations with multiple cards (ie not in order VGA1,VGA2 but like VGA1,VGA4 etc) and never had an issue.
