I've been wanting to have a loop ever since I started building computers. I finally decided to do it, and went all out for my first time.

Parts:
EK Vector RTX RE Ti RGB - Nickel + Plexi
EK-Vector RTX Backplate - Black
EK-Velocity D-RGB - Nickel + Plexi
EK-CoolStream CE 420 (Triple)
EK-CoolStream SE 420 (Slim Triple)
EK-XTOP Revo D5 RGB PWM - Plexi
FrozenQ LF Reaction 250mm Reservoir - UV Blue Helix
EK-Furious Vardar EVO 140 BB 2500rpm - Black (6)
EK-DuraClear 9,5/15,9mm (3/8" x 5/8") Tubing - Transparent
EK-UNI Pump Bracket (140mm FAN)
Mayhems Biocide+ - 15ML
EK-ACF Compression Fitting 10/16mm (3/8 x 5/8") - Black Nickel (12)

A nice clean shot of my "A" chip :)

Doing a leak test.

I've always wanted a double helix reservoir.

Everything hooked up and running great with no leaks thankfully. Noticed I need angled fittings, got some ordered.

Got the angled fittings installed.

Still not done. Want to make the tube from the pump to shoot straight right to the radiator, then straight up to the port for a cleaner look. Will be doing that shortly, but very happy with the results from my first adventure into making a custom loop. This RTX 2080 Ti is a very hot card and really needed this loop. It was the main push that made me do this. Went as big as I could of course, two 420mm rads; one 45mm rad and one slim 28mm rad for the top. Decided to go all EK for this, except the reservoir because they don't make a double helix one. And I had to have that. My next upgrade is the mobo/cpu/ram but am trying to hold out just a little bit longer. This 3820 has really served me well and I sure have gotten my money out of it lol

Edit: new pics

    Nice build

Maybe I can't see it ?  When you open the loop for updating fittings add a "T" fitting or other way to add a drain to your loop - makes maintenance much easier

    Thanks!

When I ordered the angled fittings, I ordered a T fitting and a ball valve. Ya, wasn't the best draining it when I put on the angled fittings lol. But I installed it at the bottom right after the pump when I did the angles. So all I have to do now thankfully is plug in a tube, and turn the valve. You might not be able to see them because they are black, but it is right after the pump before the angled fittings going up to the front rad. Hard to see, but is in the last pic, look for the shine from the pumps LED.

Much better than my first water cooling attempt MBP! Nicely done. Yeah, I was going to mention the rad to pump line. It's the only one I see that needs a little "prettying up". Couple 90's will fix that up. You should have plenty of rad, I try to go as thick as possible. That way you can slow the fans down. Good job dude!

Keep the photos coming & round out your build log with details & benchmarks

Did you make any changes to the case ?  Did this require cutting or unbolting ......

Thankfully no. Not a single thing was done to the case at all. The reservoir holder came with the case and was super easy to install. I only had to remove the first Hard Drive cage for the pump to fit. But that was easy enough. I didn't notice any correlating holes for the pump on the bottom or HD cage. But I bought an adapter to fit to the bottom 140mm section of the front rad. I could have drilled holes on the bottom for the pump, but I wanted to try and make this without any case modification of any kind.

    Really cool.
Hard Tubing are not necessary to look cool.
Do you like these fittings? I can't stop to think about them because I have exactly idea how they look inside case.

Got the last part of my loop finished. Reworked the tubing from the pump to my front radiator.

Still find myself just staring at it at times lol
So glad I finally took the plunge at went water cooled.
