Hi, i want to make a simple suggestion for the whole 3080/3090 chaos.
I didnt order any 3080/3090 yet because i simply want the best one out there, i own alot of KPE cards.

I would really appreciate if you could reserve the first batch for elite members.

    It won't make any difference, an email was sent out to elite members for the 3090 and then that email was posted on the public forum, then you had so many people sign up for elite member status days before the release the web still crashed. Now there is so many elite members that it's not really elite anymore like it used to be. This is my opinion of course ☺️.

    By the time it comes out, not many people are going to be flocking to buy a likely 2300+ dollar graphics card.

    Im betting more people then you think are, the kingpins are always worth waiting for if that's what you want, alot of people are doing the extreme cooling and benchmarking now and want that kingpin for dice and ln2 and xoc bios along with the classified tool to go with it.

    TBH I was expecting closer to $2000. I don't have sales records, but being a $200 markup from the FTW3 OC is already $100 more than the old KP model. A titan variant card, to me at least, is a different beast with all the extra hardware on the card to engineer.

    Kingpin 2080 Ti was a 500 dollar markup over the FTW3 variant.

    The 3090 Kingpin will have a 360 rad with 3 fans, a similar hybrid cooler, and potentially a flip up display out of the box.

    It will cost 2300 dollars minimum. Anyone saying otherwise is kidding themselves.

    2080ti: FTW3 Ultra 1500 -> KP 1900 {$400 markup}
    3090 FTW3 OC 1800 -> KP 2000(proposed) {$200 markup; +$100 over previous model}

    Forgot about the additional fan, still don't think it'll be 2300 though.

    They should revise elite to require a minimum of one product purchase in 5 years. That will make it fair.

    I hate to say it, but I think you're right about this. Gaining elite status is pretty easy. It's safe to say that there are plenty of people/bots who signed up for evga account and posted 100 times to gain elite status.

    The elite status tactic worked fairly well because it was a surprise move right before the 3090 launch. Now it's probably safe to say there are plenty of bots that have elite status.

    I agree, elite status should be more limited.
