The way you have your ram installed will cause the ram to run in single channel mode. You need to adjust your ram to X O X O to make the system run in dual channel mode. 1800 or higher on the gpu is perfect. Does your gpu bus interface read as PCI-E 3.0x16@x16 3.0 when running the render test inside gpu-z?

Have you changed your RAM configuration as instructed? Maybe you did but forgot to confirm.

Sorry to hear you're still having issues even after adjusting your ram config. Do you have another hdd/ssd that you can load the game off of to see it that might help with the stuttering issues you're having?

Which sound driver did you disable? So the stuttering was coming from the sound driver?

I believe he's saying he disabled the Nvidia High Definition Audio controller.  I know this resolves some stability issues for some folks with audio driver conflicts. I've not seen it causing stuttering.
If he's getting sound stuttering along with the frame rate stuttering, we've already given the solution and he even said it worked, reducing the settings...until some reason it didn't. I could be wrong but  I think he's looking for a magic setting to enable a system that will not run the settings he's using at a constant frame rate over 60... and that isn't going to happen. That's my opinion.

Lowering the settings did help, but only if the op ran the game at the very lowest settings possible. Anything higher than lowest would cause the issues to come back.

It is possible the output bitrate for the selected output is too high. Try lowering it to 16 bit / 44,000KHz and see if the issue is persisting.

my mobo uses the Realtek onboard drivers for the sound as well. While I am on a different mobo chipset (Z170 / i5-6600k), I've noticed that running RAM at it's advertised clock speed (i.e. 2666 on my end) is when I started to have sound popping & crackling issues. I'd think it's worth at least a shot lowering it to see if that helps at all.

I know quite a bit about fortnite settings. I have an asus viii hero and when I used the latest realtek sound drivers it caused huge performance issues in all games not just Fortnite. Using an older driver fixed the issue. Now I use a sennheiser 1200gsx. One thing I have noticed is huge issues with Fortnite and windows 18xx. One example that comes to mind is using G-Sync in windowed full screen causing a crash on 18xx but not 1709. Also I noticed a lot of stuttering on 18xx that is non existent on 1709. The only way ive been able to prevent these issues is a reformat when windows forces 18 on me. Also you should be atleast turning everything on high settings with shadows off and view distance epic.

The multiple places over several weeks you're getting the same answers are all telling you the same thing. Reduce your graphical settings. Your system cannot run at Epic settings at 1080p and maintain a smooth frame rate. The end.

Not the end. His pc specs exceed the recommended system requirements for fortnite, so he should be able to run epic settings without issues.

Time to get a dedicated sound card, or you can even do what GloR1ouS_ said in post #53.

His PC is not capable of running @1080p over 60 FPS at all times at the settings he wants to use. That is an issue and will cause issues with stuttering.  You can certainly argue that he can run a smooth 60 FPS at all times, but that would go against facts a dozen other folks have tried to explain to the same person on the same issue. Good luck in finding that magic setting.

The op has already stated that disabling his onboard realtek sound drivers made all his issues go away, so clearly he isn't having issues running the game at epic settings anymore with his onboard realtek sounds drivers disabled.

This guy angering me...my computer can run that game on epic fine, that 60 fps average you just posted is fake or i dont know,as i said,i have more like 100 fps average...
So i should buy a sound card?I got recommended to use that nvidia high definition audio, because i use a converter for my secondary monitor(no,the secondary monitor isnt causing my problem)that converts vga to dvi,and it has some sound ability thing. When i use nvidia high definition audio,i have no sound while it does say that i should have sound, because theres that thing that shows it... idk what is it called...
