Hard to follow, but #9 sounds like you might have made the issue yourself. I know if someone opened a paypal dispute if I was 3 days late shipping something I'd be upset as well. Have some chill.

No response from 2 PMs for 2 days as well.

If I'm not going to ship when I say I'm going to ship I keep the person apprised of the situation. No excuse. Takes less than 5 minutes to send a PM.

We have no issue with the transaction that we did, that is for sure
Oh yeah, live and learn.

i take the approach of if they dont answer with in certain reasonable time frame from the beginning then i wont deal with them, if they cant be attentive enough to answer a few questions to sell it then they will most likely be the same about shipping it

have delt with people from here in the market place i can say i have 0 complaints, e-bay though.... not so much

General question - when buying used through forums, do you buy from people that do not accept PayPal but other forms such as Chase Quickpay or Google Wallet? To me that seems like a major risk. I see no buyer protection other than PayPal.

I've only used PP with CC, so there are two levels of protection.

I am not familiar with those other options - have not tried them
