Turns out that the co-founder of Apple bought some bitcoins only to have the site vanish off the face of the internet in a scam that has been happening a lot it turns out.

    Same thing happens to millions of people every day, not with Bitcoin, but regular fiat currency. People use stolen credit cards to purchase things other then Bitcoin everyday, some people do charge backs to scam someone after a purchase that's not Bitcoin. Sellers get ripped off on eBay every day. Actually he got his fiat currency stolen, not his Bitcoin.

    $70,000 out of his $100,000,000 net worth. We should start a fund and help him rebuild.

    well since they didnt say how much he really lost, only saying what it would be worth now, i dont think he will miss it much. i really cant wait for all this scam money to finally disappear for good.
