My step up is 9/23/2020 at 4:38PM EST.
I posted this in a previous thread, but figured I would share here. I did the step up for the 1000 series (stepped up a 970 to a 1070). I entered the queue a day after the card was launched and it took 2.5 months for my queue to process. Add another week or two for processing and shipping and the final result was about 3 months.
So Jacob's post about December for 3080's hitting everyone seems more than fair, considering A) we are in a pandemic and B) demand is probably higher .
I know it can be frustrating, but please go easy on the EVGA team. No other vendor offers a program like this and it's a great value for us consumers, even if it takes a while.

I'm very happy with the XC3 version model, unfortunately, I'm still unable to step-up as this card is not showing into my list (France) :(.

I am keeping my old 1660 as my fallback card in the cross shipping window........
I always keep my "previous" card for this reason. If the main one goes down I don't have any real downtime. ....Mind you, my previous card is a 6gb 1060, but its better than the integrated graphics so im happy

I'm very late to the party but i'm all registered for a 3080 stepup as of a few minutes ago. In the next few months i'll enjoy the upgrade from a 1050 to a 2080 Super :)

Yes today I received an EVGA 2080 Super Black Gaming from Memory Express and applied for the step up to a 3080. I know the stepup queue for the 3080 is already pretty long and I won't get the 3080 from the stepup for months. In the meantime I just pulled the 1050 out of my system and put in the 2080 Super. It is a huge upgrade. The 3080 will be maybe double the 2080 Super when I get it but the 2080 Super is about 3-4x better than the 1050 I had in there earlier today.

Well if you have the money! But I agree with most people it’s not in the best interest of most consumers. A couple of thoughts. The production and demand for the 3090 is much much lower than the 3080 and the 3070 so the queue isn’t going to scale the same. I think you’ll likely be better off in the 3090 queue but it still could be a significant wait if you can’t step up till Tuesday . But the 2080 s is a really good card and you should just enjoy it while you wait. You know like a friends with benefits. Also you could buy another 3080 if you can get your hands on one sooner. And sell the step-up 3080 when it comes through!

Elite Member offer was only for the 3090 this morning. 3080 is still a free-for-all unless you're in the step-up program where we're all just waiting in a virtual line to be told when to buy it and how to send in our qualified card.
