Um yeah..
I want that XOC bios.. just waiting on the full block first and some time to be sure shes all fine.. then when I grow a pair I'll flash it and unleash the beast! Lol j/k. All in due time.

So after re reading.. your saying if we flash the bad boy with the xoc bios on the oc switch position, we keep the thermal protection in place? So safer no power limit fun?
If true I might have to test this like... tonight.
I'll wait for the main man TiN_EE to clarify!

Thanks dude. Currently 5th in the HOF. Yesterday was just to test how the card scales when cold. I only had 15L of LN2 on hand so had to be quick. Once I get my 200L tank in I'll be pushing it much harder and the CPU as well. https://www.3dmark.com/spy/7176058

I can neither confirm nor deny safety of XOC BIOS on any of the switch position. Its use is not supported by any means. When stuff like this happen to be available, it is always AS IS and for sole educational purposes. So you have to be careful listening to extreme overclockers on youtubes and all. :) There is a mutual agreement with community on this, otherwise candy tools and toys to play are never going to be available.  If everyone start running wild stuff, we'all end up in even more limited and corked stuff in next-gen devices. On the good side - I don't really see a benefit running with it for purposes other than competitive benchmarking, it will not make GPU that runs 2150MHz suddenly to overclock 2250MHz  .

Which should be why most bought the card.. for benching! Obviously I bought it for both.
Now wish there was a bios switch good for 24/7 use and a switch with XOC for benching.
Prob normal and OC would do it with the copper block as theirs no fans to worry about.
