Hi there folks,
i currently am at an loss because different forums and websites tell different and sometimes outdated storys/infos so i wanne ask : i bought a overpriced gtx 1660 ti from xcom in germany and want to know if i can still sign up for step up to get a 3070ti . still possible or not ? bill would be from december obviously so any help would be great. sitting here on my lap with no real meaning of gaming and unfortunatly i gifted my only gpu away before the crisis started and the 3070ti that i was able to buy from zotac was defective leaving me with no discrete gpu ... (because a massive overpriced 1660 is just a terrible value beyond anything i just bought it because i though i could get a 3070ti again...)

If you bought within the last 90 days, yes you can use it to step up to a RTX 3070 Ti. However you said "overpriced" not sure how overpriced you paid for it but EVGA will only honor MSRP as listed on EVGA's store for the value of your step up. So if you paid something ridiculous for it, you're not going to get that same ridiculous amount off when "stepping up" you will only be given credit for the amount EVGA themselves charge for it.

Yeah, you're not getting € 609 credit for a GTX 1660 Ti to step up when EVGA EU sells the RTX 3070 Ti FTW3 for € 689.99.

EVGA doesn't list the GTX 1660 Ti in their EU store, but the last MSRP I could find for it in EU was € 269.99 so don't expect much more than that for it's value in step up towards a RTX 3070 Ti.
