Step-Up Pricing when entering queue, or When available?

Hey guys, quick question that I could t find an answer for...

So I’ve been holding my step-up off as long as I could, just in case the Ti/Super/Higher GB version, but with the recent increase in MSRP on all 3080 cards, seems like it’s a matter of time until EVGA follows suite.

When stepping up, do I lock myself into the MSRP of the 3080 when I enter the queue (Step 1) or when my turn is up for purchase (Step 2)?

    You get your pricing at time of step up signup and it’s supposed to be locked in at that price however if you leave the queue and renenter the price updates to whatever it may be at time of sign up
