So yesterday I bought: EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC GAMING, 08G-P4-2182-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED

I bought this with the intention of stepping up because at the moment I’m running on one 780ti kingpin (had a problem with one of my cards and evga had me return both. In the end I returned them for another set and one dies the week after my warranty expires). Only bought this card because the Ti versions are extinct right now. The guy told me on the phone which card I can step up to, but I couldn’t write it down at the time.

Can someone let me know? I read the step up page and still couldn’t figure it out. He also told me that in the event the card that I need doesn’t come back in stock that my step up would be valid until I can step up cards. Thanks.

You can go to that page at any time and see the most up to date gpu list available. I am going to move this to the step up section, as this is a step up question.

Also, be aware, you need to register your card ASAP, and you only have 90 days from the date of purchase to use the step up program.

The three 20xx series cards available for step up are:

EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti XC BLACK EDITION GAMING, 11G-P4-2282-KR, 11GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED (11G-P4-2282-KR)

You are already using this range of gpu, but I am putting these below for others:

EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 XC BLACK EDITION GAMING, 08G-P4-2082-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED (08G-P4-2082-KR)

EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 XC BLACK EDITION GAMING, 08G-P4-2071-KR, 8GB GDDR6, Dual HDB Fans & RGB LED (08G-P4-2071-KR)

Scarlet_one is correct on all counts. Register your card ASAP, then make sure to upload your invoice.   As far as entering the queue, once you are in it, you are good to go.  If it takes 4 months to fulfill your stepup, that is fine.  Should you pull out of the Step up after the initial 90 day period, you lost the ability to step up.  In your case, the most logical step up would be the 2080 TI Black Edition.  Choose it...fill out the info as far as purchase price of your original card (no tax or shipping included).  As you progress through the pages...you will see a final price that you will have to pay to Step up.  You don't pay until you reach latter stages of the step up process, so you don't immediately pay.  The process is actually pretty simple...I have done it twice...both with no issues.  Right now, not sure what the wait time will be on the 2080 TI Black, but while you wait...you can enjoy the 2080 XC Gaming card.  Hope this helps

And this was exactly my intent. Hopefully I get in soon as I’m preparing to watercool the 2080ti. Thanks for the response. Scarlet thank you as well.
